All quarterfinalists of the individual competition and semifinalists of the doubles have been completed. Two qualifiers are among the quarterfinalists, and the rematch of last week's final awaits us in doubles on Friday.

Aleksandar Vukić, Kacper Žuk, Mirza Bašić and Quentin Halys rounded off the quarterfinal lineup in the Split Open single. For the second week in a row, Australian Vukić advanced to the final eight, defeating qualifier Zdenek Kolar from the Czech Republic 7:6 (5), 6:4. In the first set, which lasted exactly an hour, Vukić made up for the "break" twice, and in the second he made the key "break" for a 5:4 lead. On the service for the match, he annulled the "break" opportunity of the opponent.

Vukić will play in the quarterfinals against another qualifier, Žuk, who played in the semifinals last week. The Pole is in great shape, which he confirmed by celebrating over the German, Maximilian Marterer 6:4, 7:6 (4), with which he entered the Top 200 for the first time in the live ranking.

Bašić also made it to the quarterfinals from the qualifications, defeating Andrea Collarini 6:4, 6:4. Last week, the Argentine, like Žuk, was eliminated in the semifinals, then in the new tournament he was eliminated in the qualifications, but as a "lucky loser" he still got a chance in the main draw. However, he could not oppose Bašić. The tennis player from Sarajevo led 5:1 in the second set, only to finish the job at 5:4, realizing the fifth match point.

- We played a very good match. I could have finished earlier, but he picked up the game in the end. Luckily for me, I served the last game well - said Bašić, who also reached the quarterfinals at the last tournament in Split.

Tomorrow he plays with the Frenchman, Mathias Bourgue. This is his tenth in 12 days.

- It will not be a problem, I have freshness and I am in a good form - said Bašić.

Frenchman Quentin Halys, once a promising junior with four Grand Slam finals (three in doubles, one in singles), advanced to the quarterfinals. He broke Pedro Cachin of Argentina with 6:2, 7:6 (2) from eight consecutive victories.

In the doubles semifinals, we will have a rematch of last week's final between defending champions Golubev and NedovYesov and Walkow and Zielinski. Barrere/Olivetti and Galloway/Lawson meet in the second semifinal. In addition to the doubles, tomorrow we will have the quarterfinal matches in singles: Žuk - Vukić and Halys - Kokkinakis on the Center court and Ymer - Ilkel and Bourgue - Bašić on the court 4.
